🖼️ Storyboards & images

Add text to images

Add titles, supers, or labels over a frame in the Image Editor with any Google Font. Text stays an editable layer until you save, so you can restyle it as often as you like.

Try it yourself

  1. In your project, open Storyboards from the left navigation and open a board.

  2. On a frame's image, open the Edit menu and choose Edit image.

  3. In the left column, switch to the Layers tab and click Add layer → Add text.

  4. Type your text on the canvas, then use the formatting menu above it to pick a font, size, color, bold, italic, or uppercase.

  5. Drag the text into place and click Save at the bottom of the Layers tab.
