Image & Video Tools
What's new in Hero: Image Editor and Playground.
๐จ Image Editor
Edit frame and document images with camera controls, references, layers and text.
Where: Edit image on a storyboard frame, an image in a treatment or custom document, a character, set or prop reference, or any image in Assets.
Controls: a prompt, visual references picked from project assets, and Cinema controls for camera settings.
Variants and versions: generate several variants at once; every edit is saved as a new version in the filmstrip and earlier versions stay available.
Layers: add text and media layers from Assets, edit text and typography, and save the composition.
Output: images generate at 2K; download the selected version or the full composed image.
๐งช Playground
A project tab for free-form image and video generation, separate from your docs.
Where: the Playground tab in any project.
Images: choose from several image models, add up to ten reference images (on models that support them), pick 16:9, 1:1 or 9:16, and generate one, two or four variants.
Video: 4, 6 or 8 second clips in 16:9 or 9:16, up to 4K on some models, with optional start and end frames taken from Assets.
History: shared by everyone on the project, grouped by day, searchable by prompt, filterable by images or videos, in grid or detail view.
Reuse: save to Assets, use as a reference, recreate a batch, or start a new character, set or prop from a picture.
Credits: each variant uses one generation credit.
